McLean Province - 2

McLean Province sits high on a hill at the intersection of Kirby Road and Great Falls Street in Fairfax County.  Carefully sited on a dramatic corner parcel just moments from Tysons Corner, the George Washington Parkway, Arlington and the City of Falls Church, McLean Province is a quiet and beautifully developed community of 129 classic garage townhomes.

Opened to great acclaim by NV Homes in 1986, and still one of the most convenient communities in West Falls Church, the Province is known for its expansive and bucolic common areas, and its premier location near the West Falls Church metro, Route 66, the Silver Line McLean Station and the Dulles Corridor. The neighborhood was expanded in 1988 when Norvail Development constructed an additional section on Van Tuyl Place.

The community’s topographic appeal is defined by the “circle” and enhanced by surrounding Fairfax County parkland. Sidewalks throughout the neighborhood and trails running through adjoining public land make the neighborhood a popular choice for those who like to stroll, run, walk the dog or enjoy a nice bike ride. Schools and shopping are also nearby.

Property values have increased over the years and remain strong today. Residents enjoy the benefit of owning homes in a community made popular by virtue of a magical combination of convenience and solitude. Properties listed for sale and rent are sought by those wanting to be near the nation’s capital, commuter routes, schools, and world-class shopping.

McLean Province is governed by a strong and well managed Home Owners Association guided by residents who volunteer their time and expertise for the benefit of all residents. Extensive common areas and the roads in the community are maintained by the association.

Since 2004, I have enjoyed being part of the excitement of introducing newcomers to the McLean Province community. Thanks to my dominant market share, I have become known as the "Neighborhood Specialist" and am proud to have represented buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants in 40% of the real estate transactions on record since my first listing eighteen years ago.
